What is Project Uddipon?

Project Uddipon (উদ্দীপন – “inspiration” or “ignition”) is a nationwide STEM empowerment initiative by ZAN Tech. We design and deliver free, high-quality workshops on Robotics, Programming, AI/ML and IoT for students across Bangladesh.

Our mission is to ignite technological curiosity in students and ensure that no talented learner is left behind in Bangladesh’s journey into the Fourth Industrial Revolution (4IR).

Why Bangladesh Needs Uddipon

Limited Access

Many rural and semi-urban schools lack labs, equipment and trained mentors. Students rarely get hands-on exposure to robotics, coding or AI.

Future Skills Gap

Industries are increasingly demanding skills in automation, robotics and data. Without intervention, Bangladesh risks falling behind in 4IR readiness.

Gender Gap in STEM

Female participation in STEM is still low. Uddipon actively runs Girls-in-Tech sessions to increase confidence and representation.

Bridging the Divide

Project Uddipon brings the lab to the classroom — with real robots, real engineers, and real projects that students can build and understand.

What We Do

Robotics Workshops

Students build line-following and obstacle-avoiding robots while learning Arduino, sensors and motors in a fully hands-on format.

Programming & AI Basics

Beginner-friendly introductions to programming and AI/ML concepts using simple, visual examples that relate to everyday life.

IoT Bootcamps

Practical IoT projects around sensor data, smart monitoring and connected devices, tailored to local needs and imagination.

Girls in STEM

Dedicated Girls-in-Tech sessions at girls' schools to inspire, support and encourage young women to explore technology fields.

STEM Club Formation

Helping institutions start Robotics/STEM clubs, providing starter project ideas and mentorship for long-term activity.

Teacher Training

Training interested teachers on robotics basics and teaching methods so they can continue activities after the workshops.

Uddipon has already conducted workshops at institutions such as Feni Govt College, Sharishadi High School, Sonagazi Girls’ Pilot High School and others — introducing robotics, AI and IoT to students who had never seen these technologies before.

Our Partners & Supporters

We collaborate with government bodies, NGOs, development partners, corporate CSR programs and educational institutions to scale Uddipon across all 64 districts of Bangladesh.

How Project Uddipon Works

  1. Institution Invitation: A school, college or university reaches out to host a Uddipon workshop.
  2. Planning & Coordination: Topics, dates and logistics are finalized with our team.
  3. On-Site Delivery: ZAN Tech engineers visit with all necessary kits and conduct 3–6 hour hands-on sessions.
  4. STEM Club Setup: We help launch or strengthen a STEM/Robotics club at the institution.
  5. Ongoing Support: Students and teachers continue learning via online content and remote guidance.
